People are definitely impacted by the culture they consume – the web sites they visit or the music they listen to, for instance. Pastors need to be informed about what’s out there in order to understand how the culture is influencing the people they are trying to reach.

i keep getting a notice before I post on here. Apparently you are lying in wait to steal my credit card number. I can just give it to you because you ain’t gettin no where with that guy!
Anyhoo. Interesting information. I have to say I am sure his info is right, but the reasoning may not be due to vast separation. Pastors (which I just typeod “pastros” and I think I prefer this name) shouldn’t be sucked into the internet, magazines and everything else the survey was based on. Frankly, I feel it is my pastor’s job to lead me, and if he is leading me into what the most popular magazine has to say about life, I may begin church shopping. I like the randomness you throw in; it proves you have a life. Plus, your fruit, aka your children, are normal.
