I have at times avoided certain books in THE BOOK - usually because I didn't understand them very well, & felt challenged in ways I couldn't explain. Jonah is like that - because Ch. 4 ends so... abruptly? And Jonah not only hasn't 'gotten' it, but this prophet of God is royally ticked because God is sparing the Ninevites, & Jonah, in all his prejudice, wishes they were dead.

And I don't know what to do with that.

Ecclesiastes feels a little like that to me too. But, I was missing theMoses, (it is his favorite book, after all,) so I spent some time there. And came away glad that I had done so.

Love you 6.

Not my favorite book in THE BOOK. Mo's favorite. I avoid it. Don't know why, kinda like I avoid Revelations. Good reminders though it just seems like not a very optimistic book maybe that's why it's not a favorite.
Still I really like the idea of "wrapping both hands around contentedness" because in all things we can find the good or we can find the bad. I choose to find good and be content with it.
